I’ve been a pilot since 2003 and a coffee enthusiast since 2010. My aviation experience has explored a variety of different corners of aviation - flight instructing, freight, Part 135/91K and currently, I fly the Citation Latitude for a Part 91 operation in the Midwest. 

Since 2020, I’ve co-owned and operated a small brick and mortar cafe - Waypoint Coffee Company. I love taking all of the best of private aviation culture - SOPs, checklists, high standards and customer service and weaving that into a hometown coffee shop. 

Operating proficiently in two environments - corporate aviation and specialty coffee - has given me a unique perspective on coffee service in aviation.

Over the years, I’ve seen the same problem with each operator I’ve flown for: full pots of coffee that most often get dumped without being touched, expensive brewers, big time messes in the galley, time-consuming prep and cleanup for the crew, and disappointing quality for passengers.

That’s why I am excited to present a better solution for private aviation:  a barista-quality instant coffee from Swift; a solution that’s cost-effective, efficient, and genuinely delicious.
